Dear School Community,
As we launch our brand new website, I thought I would take a moment and reflect on some of the amazing things that have been happening in Austin Public Schools this year:
- Robotics teams from both Ellis Middle School and IJ Holton Intermediate School have advanced to the US Open competition in Iowa, while one of our IJ Holton teams has qualified for the World Championships in Kentucky.
- Multiple programs throughout the district have been recognized at the state level, including Project E³ and PBIS at Woodson Kindergarten Center.
- Our strategic partnerships with the University of Minnesota, MacPhail Music, and the Hormel Foundation (among others) continue to present new and exciting opportunities for all Austin students.
- And several athletic teams and individuals have advanced to and done very well at state tournaments.
These are just a few of a multitude of exciting developments within the district.
Today we launch our new website, which has been carefully developed to be both more streamlined and user friendly both on desktops and mobile devices. As part of the launch, we have developed six Spotlight Areas where we believe the Austin Public School District truly shines:
- Science and Technology
If you'd like to learn more about any of these areas, simply click on the appropriate button at the top of any page from our new site.
