The Packer Dome is now closed for the season and is scheduled to be taken down on May 14. Thank you for a good and safe season!
Is winter getting you down? Come check out the Packer Dome, where the temperature is around 55 degrees and the turf is always green (and red!)
The Packer Dome is an enclosed area that covers the turf of Art Hass Stadium at the Wescott Sports Complex. Built-in amenities include a walking/running track, batting cages, and an artificial turf field.
The walking/running track is open to the general public at no cost from 8-12 and 1-3, Monday through Friday. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will only be 25 people allowed on the track at a time, and masks will be required at all times. Social distancing is also encouraged. At this time, the whole dome will be allowed to be run to allow as much distance between others as possible. No equipment is allowed during these times.
To reserve a two-hour time slot starting at 8:00, 10:00, or 1:00, up to one week in advance, use this link: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/PackerDome@isd492.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/.
Batting cages are available for rental 7 days a week at a rate of $25/hour. Slots can be reserved by contacting Alex Pitzen at 507-460-1927 or email at email@example.com. Groups up to six are encouraged to attend together, though masking is required at all times and social distancing will required when not taking swings.
The turf field is the size of a football field and can be split in halves or left whole depending on the needs of the event. Some previous uses of the field have included soccer games, indoor softball games, and football practices, but we are happy to work with you to try and fit your event into the space. There is variable pricing to rent the space, depending on multiple factors. Please see Rental Procedures to find what the rate would be for your event. If interested in renting, contact Alex Pitzen at 507-460-1927 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
