Austin High School
Beginning with the 2023-24 school year, all student lunch accounts will be handled via Parent Portal. To add money to your student's account, please login and click the Food Service tab.

Our mission in the Food and Nutrition Services Department is to enhance learning by advancing the quality of school meals and to empower students to make life-long healthy choices. We do this by following the nutrition parameters set by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act that include offering all students a minimum of three fruit and vegetable options, whole grain servings, lean protein sources and low-fat dairy options. As of 2023, the parameters include:

  • All grains are Whole Grain Rich (>51% whole grains)
  • School Lunch Calorie Ranges:
    • K-5th: 550-650 calories
    • 6th - 8th: 600-700 calories
    • 9th - 12th: 750-850 calories
  • Sodium Restrictions on all meals
