You'll also want to consider the personal attributes needed to be an effective board member, including understanding the code of ethics by which you must abide once elected.

What can you do to be ready to join the APS School Board?

You may want to consider meeting with the superintendent and school board chair to learn about the expectations of school board members in our school district. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meeting, please call the Superintendent's Office at 507-460-1900.
