Superintendent's Student Advisory Council

The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (S.S.A.C.) is a newly established committee at the district level, comprising students from grades 9-12 at Austin High School. The S.S.A.C. serves as a platform for open dialogue and direct feedback to the Superintendent, focusing on student-driven concerns and district priorities to promote positive changes within our schools.

Purpose:
The main objective of the S.S.A.C. is to enhance the overall student experience by providing the Superintendent and senior staff with actionable feedback. This council ensures effective two-way communication between the Superintendent and the student body, enabling a collaborative approach to addressing key issues.

Meetings:
The council meets monthly with the Superintendent to discuss and advocate for important matters impacting them and the district. Members of the S.S.A.C. are dedicated to representing and voicing the needs and interests of all students.
